Swindle is sent in with orders to 'negotiate' a mutually beneficial deal - earlier attempts by both the Autobots and Decepticons having failed in this regard. Things are not quite as Swindle imagined, however.

First Aid failing to be swindled by Swindle (because I mean, c'mon, the guy's name is SWINDLE), or maybe secretly knowing he's being swindled but letting himself be swindled anyway because he doesn't want Swindle to feel bad, even though Swindle pretending to feel bad is part of the swindle, but if the swindle doesn't work, Swindle really WILL feel bad..."

I think this is reasonably close! Dissatisfied with Decepticon medical treatment, Onslaught orders Swindle to procure the services of First Aid.

Summary: Blades is lucky to have made it through a fight with Vortex with barely a scratch. Or did he?.
Notes: In keeping with other headcanon, the Protectobots aren't newly created except Blades and Streetwise. The rest recently came together for the purposes of the gestalt, but had been around for a while. And First Aid was once Hook's intern.

Summary: Not long after their reactivation on Earth, the Constructicons struggle with various issues, trying to become functional. When Kickback is admitted to the Decepticon medbay after an attack by the coneheads, Hook finds himself deeply attracted to Shrapnel, and swept into a realm of new possibilities. Meanshile Kickback and Scavenger also develop a liking for each other. Will this destroy the Constructicons?
Or could the Insecticon agenda and the new liaisons actually improve matters?
